Where do we see ourselves in the next 5 years? What makes you happy? & How do you want to be remembered after your death? I think these could also be great questions for a first date lol. These are questions that we really should be asking ourselves when it comes to how we want to spend the rest of our lives. Are we living purposefully? I had to stop and think what that even means to me. I've come to the conclusion of am I doing everything I can to be the person I have been wanting to be? Am I taking a moment to sit down with myself and ask myself am I on the path of being the best version of who I am?
It's so crazy that we ask ourselves these questions but if we don't figure out where we want to be now we're going to always feel as though something is missing. We will always feel out of place. I found that being amongst people I can confide in while also having moments for myself is helpful in understanding who I am, where I see myself and who I want to be.
I am excited to have the courage to place myself in this position to question myself in a healthy way. I didn't wake up knowing what my purpose was but throughout the obstacles in my life I am learning that each step helped me to recognize more about who I am. In life, we have to embrace the things that we are going through and realize that our obstacles don't just have to break us but it can create a new door and a new way of exploring who we are. Knowing your purpose will allow you to become a better version of who you were meant to be. So let go. Find what makes you happy and find what keeps you pushing in life.
